About us and our green space to hire

  The Greens at Waldringfield is a 10-acre countryside outdoor venue for hire, just outside Waldringfield, near Woodbridge in Suffolk. Set close to the River Deben and surrounded by open fields, it offers a peaceful and natural setting for outdoor events while remaining easy to reach, just 1.6 miles from the A12 at junction 58.

The site was formerly Waldringfield Golf Club, which closed in 2019. The name “The Greens” pays tribute to its heritage, while the land has been transformed into a flexible event space that can be shaped to suit a wide variety of gatherings.

When you hire the venue, you have exclusive use of the full 10 acres, including parking for around 100+ vehicles and on-site toilets. The open layout makes it perfect for weddings, private parties, festivals, corporate events or camping weekends. 

Many organisers choose to bring in tipis, marquees or stretch tents to create central areas for dining, entertainment or social space, with the surrounding land left free for seating, bars, catering or camping.

We offer hire throughout the year, with different pricing for off peak, mid peak and peak months to suit events of all sizes. Our aim is to provide a well-kept, versatile outdoor space where organisers can bring their own ideas, suppliers and event style to create memorable experiences in the Suffolk countryside.
